Welcome to Coagh Primary School

On behalf of the staff, pupils, and governors of Coagh Primary School, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our website.

Our school motto, created by the School Council, is “Happiness, Excellence, and Achievement.” This captures the ethos of our school community, where we strive to ensure that every child flourishes in a caring and supportive environment.

At Coagh Primary School, our six key values – Honesty, Perseverance, Kindness, Community, Responsibility and Positivity – are at the heart of everything we do. These values help guide our pupils in their learning, friendships, and everyday life, ensuring they grow not only as learners but also as responsible and compassionate young people.

This website is designed to provide you with a flavour of the wonderful pupils, dedicated staff, and rich variety of experiences that make our school so special. We hope it gives you an insight into the high-quality teaching and learning that takes place every day, as well as the many opportunities our pupils enjoy beyond the classroom.

We are proud to foster a strong sense of community where every voice is valued, and we believe that working in partnership with parents is essential to each child’s success. Together, we aim to create a learning environment where children feel happy, safe, and motivated to achieve their very best.

Our curriculum is broad and balanced, with a focus on core skills in Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT, alongside creativity, sport, and personal development. Through these experiences, our pupils gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive as they move on to the next stage of their education.
