Weighing using standard measures

Today, our Primary 4 and Primary 5 learners explored the practical side of mathematics by estimating and weighing everyday classroom objects. The activity focused on using grams as the unit of measurement, helping pupils develop a real-world understanding of weight and estimation.

First, pupils made predictions about the weight of various items such as pencils, books and glue sticks.  After estimating, they used balance scales to check their predictions and record the weight.
