'Trout in the Classroom'

Frank and David from The Ballinderry River Trust were in school to deliver the eggs for the 'Trout in the Classroom' Project that the P5 pupils are taking participating in as part of their World Around Us topic on 'Water' with Ballylifford Primary School. Over the next few weeks the class will be monitoring and recording water temperatures and cleaning/changing water in the tank. It is anticipated that at the beginning of March the P5 pupils from both Coagh and Ballylifford will release the fish into the Ballinderry River.
