Our football teams recently participated in the Tri County Football Tournament which was held at the Sports Arena in Coagh.
Fourteen teams from local primary schools attended and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves. A massive thank you to Coagh Utd for the use of their fantastic facilities for the tournament and many thanks to all coaches/teachers from the various schools who refereed the matches.
Two teams from Coagh put in a great effort and worked hard in all their matches. Team A- Micah, James, Nathan, Shane, Jacob, Jack, Jamie, Zeke, Callum & Leah Team B- Daniel, Dexter, Darren, Harry, Amy, Erin, Cooper, Logan & Ewan The P7 pupils from Coagh Primary School were excellent at taking photographs, retrieving footballs and recording the scores throughout the matches.
Congratulations to the eventual winners: Larger School Section- Woods Primary School and Smaller School Section- Ballytrea Primary School
The participating schools were Donaghey, QEII Pomeroy, Coagh, Churchtown, Ballytrea, Donaghmore, Orritor, Phoenix, Moneymore, Cookstown, Woods, Bush and Killyman.
