Our P1 pupils have had a busy couple of weeks diving into the classic tale of ‘The Gingerbread Man’. Thoroughout our Literacy lessons, the classroom has been filled with the sound of enthusiastic voices joining in with the famous refrain ‘Run, run as fast as you can! You can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man!’
To wrap up our topic, we transformed our classroom into a theatre. Every child took part in role-playing the story, bringing the characters to life with great energy. From the old lady to the sly fox, every pupil did a fantastic job acting out their part. We are so proud of our P1 children and how they have shown confidence and creativity during this unit of work.
