P1 children were very excited about their Literacy topic today. The boys and girls were listening and singing along to ‘The Teddy Bears Picnic’ song. They brought their favourite teddies along to join in with all the fun! Not only did they have a great sing along but enjoyed a tasty picnic on picnic blankets in class. They took their teddies for a walk around the playground to complete the activity.
(Little known fact- Jimmy Kennedy who wrote 'Teddy Bears Picnic' lived in Coagh and it is believed to be the inspiration for the song).
