Shared Education – Week 10
Shared Education – Week 10
Today marked the final session of this year’s Shared Education Partnership involving Ballylifford Primary School, Coagh Primary School, and Derrychrin Primary School.
Over the past 10 weeks, since the beginning of January, our pupils have taken part in a wide range of meaningful and engaging activities. Together, they have:
- Explored their World Around Us topic: Farming, learning about local agriculture and the important role it plays in our community including visiting a local farm.
- Developed their Basketball skills, enjoying coaching sessions that focused on teamwork, movement, and having fun while staying active.
- Participated in a Wellbeing Day, taking time to look after their physical and emotional health.
- Visited The Battery Harbour, learning more about the local area and its history while experiencing outdoor learning with their peers.
It has been a very full and busy project, but incredibly worthwhile. The pupils have learned new skills, gained new knowledge about their local environment, and made new friends from our two partner schools.
A big thank you to all staff and pupils from Ballylifford PS and Derrychrin PS for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and friendship throughout this project. We look forward to working together again next year.
