P7 Signing Day – A Special School Tradition
Today marked a very special occasion for our Primary 7 pupils, and indeed for the whole school community, as we celebrated our much-loved P7 Signing Day.
Each of our P7 pupils brought in a spare Coagh Primary School polo shirt, which quickly became a canvas for memories. Pupils from across the school were given the opportunity to ‘sign’ the shirts, leaving their names, kind messages, and words of encouragement for their P7 buddies.
There was a wonderful sense of excitement throughout the day, particularly among our younger pupils, who were delighted to take part in this meaningful tradition. The event highlighted the strong sense of connection and friendship that exists across all year groups within our school.
These signed polo shirts will become treasured keepsakes for our P7 leavers, filled with happy memories and thoughtful messages as they prepare to move on to the next stage of their education.
It is clear that this tradition holds a special place in the hearts of our pupils, with many of the younger children already looking forward to their turn in years to come.
We are proud to continue this lovely tradition, celebrating friendship, community, and the lasting memories created at Coagh Primary School.
