P7 Leavers Assembly and Prize Day – June 2026
The P7 Leavers Assembly is always one of the highlights of the school year for our P7 families, and this year’s celebration was no different. We are exceptionally proud of our P7 class, who enjoyed a memorable afternoon sharing their talents, achievements and special memories from their time at Coagh Primary School.
The programme began with a slideshow of photographs, taking everyone on a journey through the pupils’ years at Coagh Primary. This was followed by a warm welcome and lively opening performance, creating a wonderful atmosphere for the afternoon. Pupils took part in Bible readings, prayers and musical performances, including Bagpipe playing, flute pieces and piano solos, showcasing the wide range of talents within the class.
Throughout the assembly, we celebrated many individual and group achievements. Accelerated Reading certificates and badges were presented, alongside the coveted Accelerated Reading Cup. Sporting success was also recognised with netball, hockey and football certificates, as well as Sports Day trophies, highlighting the pupils’ commitment and teamwork.
The audience also enjoyed performances such as “Our Time is Up!” and “We go together”, as well as the heartfelt “P7 Memories Made, Future Ahead” video. These special moments reflected on the friendships, achievements and experiences that have shaped the class during their primary school journey.
The presentation of Bibles and post-primary ties marked an important milestone as pupils prepare for the next stage of their education.
The assembly concluded with an emotional video of the P7's from their 'baby' photographs through to their most recent P7 photographs.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all of our P7 pupils. Their hard work, determination and positive attitude have been a credit to Coagh Primary School. We wish each pupil every success and happiness as they move on to the next chapter of their journey.
