It was wonderful to a very special visit from Arnold Beattie this week. Arnold was able to share his World War One Presentation about his visit to the grave sites in Belgium with the class and brought in some authentic artefacts for the children to hold, feel and engage with. The children all really enjoyed the talk and in particular loved viewing the rifle and bayonet he brought along with him.
