Today, Primary 4 and Primary 5 enjoyed a hands-on outdoor maths activity focused on measurement. Working in pairs, the P4 pupils used hand spans to estimate and measure various objects around the playground, while P5 pupils used metre sticks to carry out their measurements. The children were encouraged to first estimate the length or height of each item before measuring it accurately, helping to develop their understanding of units and estimation skills. It was a fun and engaging way to bring maths to life!
