Our P1 pupils are having a wonderful time learning about ‘Toys’ as part of their World Around Us topic. This week, we were especially excited to explore and play with toys from the past.
From spinning tops to trapeze toys, the classroom was filled with curiosity, excitement, and plenty of smiles. It was lovely to see such intrigue and joy as pupils discovered how toys have changed over time and experienced the fun of play in a different era.
The children enjoyed comparing old toys with the ones they use today and were fascinated by how simple—and yet how entertaining—these toys could be. What a wonderful way to bring learning to life!
