Over the last few months, our P1 pupils have been busy learning all about Autumn and the wonderful changes this season brings. From colourful leaves to cooler days, the children have embraced every moment of discovering the world around them.
To deepen their learning, the class enjoyed an Autumn walk around the school grounds. They looked carefully for signs of Autumn, spotting falling leaves, bare branches, acorns, and berries in the hedges. They even had the chance to play in the leaves, tossing them into the air and watching them gently fall.
To finish off their Autumn topic, P1 created the cutest Autumn caterpillars, using the leaves they had gathered on their walk. Each caterpillar was unique and beautifully made—wonderful reminders of this fun and hands-on learning experience.
