Odd Socks Day – Celebrating Friendship Week
Today, school uniforms looked a little different at Coagh Primary School with the addition of odd socks! This fun activity marked the start of Friendship Week in school and is part of the UK-wide Anti-Bullying Week campaign.
The theme is “Power for Good”. This message encourages everyone to use their influence positively: to speak up, support others, and create a culture of kindness and respect both in school and online.
Odd Socks Day reminds us that our differences make us unique and special. It’s a simple way to celebrate individuality while reinforcing the importance of standing together.
We look forward to seeing more fantastic work across the school during Friendship Week as pupils explore what it means to be a good friend and how we can all promote kindness and inclusion.
