All pupils at Coagh Primary School have settled into the new school year extremely well. It has been wonderful to see them already earning points for their ‘House’.
There are four Houses in Coagh Primary School, each reflecting a local landmark or area: Urbal, Tamlaght, Hanover and Ballinderry. Each House has a logo taken from one of the four parts of the school crest, which the pupils wear proudly on their uniform every day.
House points are awarded for pupils who demonstrate the six key values of our school: Honesty, Perseverance, Kindness, Community, Responsibility and Positivity. It has been fantastic to watch our pupils embody these values and earn points for their Houses.
Next week, we will elect a new School Council, and one of their first tasks will be to decide and organise suitable termly rewards for the winning House.
The competition is already proving very close. Current totals are:
