Firefighter Visit to P2/3!
As part of their topic on ‘The Great Fire of London’, our P2/3 class were delighted to welcome Firefighters Timmy and Pete to Coagh Primary School this morning.
The visit focused on fire safety, with the pupils learning about the important work firefighters do and how to stay safe in the event of a fire. There was great excitement when Timmy and Pete arrived with a fire engine, and everyone had the opportunity to explore it and even sit inside!
The learning didn’t stop there — the car park also got a bit of a “washing” as pupils had a turn using the fire hose to knock down cones. It was a fantastic, hands-on learning experience that brought their classroom topic to life.
