E-Safety with Beam Creative
E?Safety Workshop with BEAM Creative Network
On Friday 30th January, our P6 and P7 pupils took part in an e?safety workshop delivered by Sue and Christine from BEAM Creative Network. The session was both informative and interactive, with all pupils participating enthusiastically throughout.
As part of Beam’s Internet Safety Schools Programme, the workshop used interactive activities designed to help children understand how to stay safe online.
During the session, pupils explored several important themes, including:
- Understanding the importance of e?safety and responsible online behaviour.
- Learning about cyberbullying, its effects, and how to respond appropriately.
- Recognising the potential legal consequences of misusing online platforms.
- Knowing where to access support if they encounter online abuse or feel unsafe.
- Developing practical strategies for recognising and responding to unsafe online situations.
The workshop provided pupils with valuable knowledge and confidence to navigate the online world more safely.
A huge thank?you to Sue and Christine for their expert delivery and to BEAM Creative Network for supporting our ongoing commitment to safeguarding and digital wellbeing.
