Cookstown High School – Taster Day for P6 Pupils
Our Primary 6 pupils enjoyed an exciting and memorable visit to Cookstown High School this morning for their first Taster Day. This provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience life in a post-primary setting and explore the school environment.
During the visit, the pupils had the chance to take part in a range of lessons. In Science, they carried out a fun experiment. In Technology, the pupils made their own torches. They also enjoyed a French session, where they learned some new words and phrases in a lively and enjoyable way.
The pupils represented Coagh Primary School superbly and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the morning.
We would like to extend a thank you to all the staff at Cookstown High School for their warm welcome and for taking such good care of our pupils.
The children are already looking forward to Taster Day 2 in June!
