Bird Box Donation Enhances School Garden

We were delighted to welcome Ruth Reid from EA Youth Service to Coagh Primary School today, where she kindly donated a beautifully crafted bird box.

This thoughtful gift was created through a collaborative project between the Men’s Shed in Cookstown and the ‘Youth Included Group’, highlighting the value of community partnership and shared creativity.

Members of our Eco Committee were on hand to thank Ruth for the donation and to learn more about the project behind it.

Over the coming days, the bird box will be installed in the garden area near our new sensory beds, where it will provide a welcoming habitat for local wildlife and further enrich our outdoor learning environment.

We are very grateful for this generous contribution and look forward to seeing our school garden continue to grow and flourish.
