It was very evident that many of our pupils have been reading over the Easter Holidays and we were delighted to present some accelerated reading stars to pupils during Assembly. 

A huge congratulations to the following pupils:

Alanna E. (P6) and Esme (P4) – Awarded their Bronze Stars for reading 250,000 words (one quarter of a million words) 

Emily W (P6) and Alana McC (P6) – Presented with her Silver Star for reading
500,000 words (half a million words) 

A brilliant achievement from these four pupils. 

There were two other pupils who were unable to collect their 'stars' during Assembly so those pupils and hopefully a few more will receive their 'stars' at the next Assembly.
