Accelerated Reading Success
It was fantastic to present Accelerated Reading Awards to our pupils during Assembly this morning. It is clear that many have been enjoying reading outside in the sunshine recently, and their efforts have certainly paid off!
There are three award levels in our Accelerated Reading programme:

Bronze for reading 250,000 words

Silver for reading 500,000 words

Gold for reading 1 million words
Pupils continue progressing through the awards as they reach higher word counts. For example, a second Bronze means 1,250,000 words have been read, and so on.
This morning, we were delighted to present the following awards:

Bronze: Joey (P6), Daniel (P6), Eva (P7)

Silver: Lucie (P6), Cooper (P7)

Gold: Matthew (P4), Eden Grace (P6)

Third Bronze: Ryan (P6) – an incredible total of 2,250,000 words read
