It was fantastic to celebrate so many achievements in assembly this morning, especially so early in the school year.

An extra congratulations goes to Hannah (P7), Leon (P7) and Ryan (P7) who have already progressed to Silver Awards for reading an incredible 500,000 words!
This is a fantastic accomplishment for mid-September and a real credit to the hard work and enthusiasm of our pupils.
It has also been wonderful to see so many children steadily increasing their word counts and working towards their half-term targets. We are confident that more awards will be presented in the coming weeks as our pupils continue their reading journey.
