A Trip Down Memory Lane
Thank you to the Friday Morning Club at Ballinderry Community Hub for the kind invitation to attend this morning’s “A Trip Down Memory Lane” event.
Our P7 pupils enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to explore a fascinating collection of historical artefacts — although some members of staff may debate just how “historical” certain items truly are given that they used them what seemed like only yesterday!
Pupils were able to chat with local residents who generously brought along objects from days gone by. Local historian Michael McConway also guided the children through each item, sharing stories, explanations, and insights that helped bring the past to life.
It was an extremely interesting and informative morning, and our P7 pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the morning so memorable.
