The Boys Hockey Team attended a qualifying tournament for the Pearson Cup which is an Ulster wide Tournament for Primary Schools. Last year our Boy’s Team finished 6th overall in Ulster.
Today the boys gave a great account of themselves reaching the semi final stages. They worked hard throughout and were extremely competitive. The goal scorers today were Ben (7 Goals), Joshua (2 Goals), Toby (3 Goals), Caleb (1 Goal) and Rory (1 Goal). Great effort from all the boys. Freddie, Jayden and Rory were excellent in defence. The team was Freddie (GK), Jayden, Rory, Toby, Joshua, Ben, Caleb and Seth.
Congratulations to Cookstown Primary School and Donaghey Primary School who now go forward to the finals in Belfast. We hope they perform as well as last year.
