Today two teams from Coagh Primary School travelled to Holy Trinity College in Cookstown for an 'Area Heat' in the Northern Ireland K'Nex Construction Challenge 2023.
The members of the teams were Caleb, Hannah, Jacob and Micah.
At the start of the session all teams were given the same 'Design Brief' and allowed a set amount of time to plan and design. After the planning stage all teams were given a set amount of time to create their finished pieces using the K'Nex available to the teams.
Other schools in the Cookstown Area Heat this morning were Woods Primary School, Churchtown Primary School, Ballytrea Primary School, Bush Primary School, St Columbus Primary School, Moneymore Primary School and St Mary's Primary School.
Both our teams produced excellent finished pieces and really enjoyed the experience.
A special mention and congratulations to Jacob and Micah who finished 1st in the Cookstown Area Heat and will now go forward to the Northern Ireland finals at a venue and date to be confirmed.
