Today the Football team travelled to Cookstown Leisure Centre to compete in the final day of the Tri County Football Tournament. After the first day Coagh were sitting in second position in the league. Today they played matches against Donaghey, Churchtown, Ballytrea and QEII Pomeroy.
The team played some really good football and worked extremely hard in all the matches winning three out of the four and losing a very tight game to Donaghey. In total the team scored 19 goals and conceded 5. Goal scorers were- Joshua (6 goals), Caleb (4 goals), Ben (5 goals), Toby (3 goals) and Seth (1 goal).
Once all the results were in Coagh finished in second place behind the winners Donaghey (Congratulations to Donaghey, well deserved over the two days, well done!)
The team was Rory (GK), Seth, Aimee, Toby, Ben, Joshua, Caleb, Nicole and Jayden. Really well played everyone.
