At todays meeting of the School Council several upcoming events were discussed and lots of decisions were taken.
A few of the items on the agenda were:
Charity Collection at the Christmas Concert (It was voted that this year’s charity would be NI Air Ambulance)
Accelerated Reading Prizes (The council decided that all pupils who achieve their target should have a ‘technology afternoon’ in school) This will take place on Wednesday 18th December
The Council decided that instead of teachers buying them individual presents for Christmas they would rather have an ‘experience’ in early January. We have now booked The Amazon Jungle Show on Friday 17th January
For Christmas Dinner on Tuesday 10th December the School Council decided they would like pupils to come to school in either Christmas Jumpers or if you prefer in School Uniform with a ‘festive’ hat or accessories
The prize for this Term’s House Point winner was discussed and details are to be finalised so that this can happen in early January
They also discussed what they might like to purchase to enhance the outdoor environment. Further details on this can be found on the School Council Display board in School.
