P1 enjoyed lots of practical activities about ‘length’ as part of their numeracy yesterday. They were outside working in small groups to reinforce their knowledge and correct language about ‘long’ and ‘short’ things. Activities included, drawing long and short shapes with chalk, making long and short shapes with wooden and magnetic blocks and making long and short lines with paper and even themselves. Fun was had by all in the lovely autumn weather!
