Today the Girls Hockey Team competed in the Cookstown Girls Blitz Tournament at Cookstown High School organised by Ulster Hockey.
Coagh, Woods, Bush, Donaghey, Ballytrea, Moneymore, Cookstown, and Orritor were all taking part. Each team played 5 games. The girls played brilliantly throughout the whole Tournament. They were competitive and gave some teams a run for their money. They worked hard at passing and shooting but sadly not all shots were successful.
The girls drew 2 matches, lost 2 and won 1.
The goal scorers were- Leah (2 goals) and Erin (1 goal)
The girls had a fun-filled morning and enjoyed watching other teams and picking up some skills and tricks. It was a great morning and they definitely have gained more confidence.
The team was- Lori (GK), Rebecca, Emma, Erin, Lori, Elizabeth, Amber and Leah (Captain)
