‘Breakfast with Santa’ organised by the Parents Association

2nd Dec 2018

It was great to see so many people from the local community turn up for the Parents Association ‘Breakfast with Santa’ this morning.

Even on a damp morning it was great to see so many people at the Christmas Tree in the village to witness Santas arrival on another unique mode of transport. Santas arrival was followed by the official light switch on. A huge thank you to Coagh Utd Football Club and Coagh Development Centre who organised and assisted in putting up and decorating the tree.

Following the light switch on in Coagh, many of the children joined Santa in his Tractor and trailer for the short drive to school. Thank you to the Marshals and PSNI for keeping everyone safe on the road.

There was a bustling atmosphere at Coagh Primary School with so many things on offer including Craft Stalls, Inflatable Snow Globe, Santas Grotto, Breakfast served in the hall, Face painting, Glitter Tattoos to name a few.

A massive thank you to all members of the ‘Parents Association’ and anyone who helped out in any way either today or in the organisation of ‘Breakfast with Santa’. For any event to be continually successful year on year it really does depend on the hard work and effort of all those involved. On behalf of the pupils and staff at Coagh Primary School we would like to say thank you and that your hard work is greatly appreciated.

A final thank you to all the local businesses and individuals who supported ‘Breakfast with Santa’ in donating raffle prizes, food and equipment. Without these the event would not be possible. Thank you.

We hope that everyone had an enjoyable morning and experienced some of the lovely Christmas atmosphere on offer.
